GLiMT AMAGER has been Copenhagen’s vibrant small-scale urban theater since 2021, growing from the renowned performing arts company GLiMT, founded in 2002 by Lars Lindegaard Gregersen and Camila Sarrazin. We believe in the power of performing arts to inspire reflection, connection, and joy.
Through contemporary circus, physical theater, dance, installations, live music, and immersive sound walks, we transform familiar urban spaces into extraordinary experiences. Our performances often take place in public settings, making art accessible and inclusive.
We also teach circus and physical theater through regular classes, workshops, and collaborations with schools and cultural institutions. Our home base, Maskinhallen in Sundholm, hosts work-in-progress showings and cultural events.
GLiMT AMAGER is supported by Københavns Kommune and is a proud member of Dansk Scenekunst and Dansk Samtids Cirkus.
